A number of hands touching each other in a circleBishops' Mission Orders have transformed the legal position of church planting  in the Church of England, along with a Code of Practice to guide their implementation. We provide an introduction to these on a Bishops' Mission Orders page, plus links for those who want to know more.

FEASTs are Fresh Expressions Area Strategy Teams that promote and establish fresh expressions of church in particular geographical areas. You can find out more about them here.

Practical advice for supervisors of pioneer curates/assistant pioneer ministers to be found here.

Wondering how to support new forms of church? In due course, this section will have resources for:

  • ministers and lay leaders who want to support a fresh expression as part of their church's local mission;
  • local churches that want to collaborate on fresh expressions;
  • denominations that want to encourage fresh expressions as an aspect of their mission strategy.

We are gathering information about what has worked and what hasn't under each of these headings. If you are in a position to contribute, we would love to hear from you. Please contact us at: share@freshexpressions.org.uk
